| The 1 Star Service comprisies
purely of physically checking the pump (s) for any obvious
signs of leaks or damage, eletrically testing the motor
windings and listening for any sign of bearing problems.
A short report would be submitted together with an approximate
cost to carry out any work considered necessary.
The 2 Star Service, as 1 star service but
additionally we would recommend a maintenance schedule so
that each pump would be fitted with new seals and bearings
at suitable running intervals, to extend the life of the
pump (s) and ensure trouble free operation.
The 3 Star Service, would be our full
pump facilities management programme where you hand all responsibility
for your pumping plant to us.

Pump Repair/Overhaul specification/method statement
- All pumps to be identified by make, model and serial no.
- Motors to be electrically tested
- Any special fittings or port configuration to be noted
- Pumps to be stripped down and examined
- Report on condition of pumps and advise cost on parts
and labour for work.
- If motor is electrically sound, fit new motor bearings
and thoroughly clean motor internals
- If motor requires rewind, advise and await customer decision.
- All stripped pump parts to be cleaned. All connection
ports/flanges to be cleaned (i.e. Threads wire brushed,
flanges cleaned of all old gasket material).
- Reassemble pump/motor unit with new parts etc. (noting
3).
- Test.
- Clean/wire brush all loose paint from unit
- Respray to correct specification (if required)
- Issue inspection/overhaul report.
On site work
Currently we use a range of qualified sub-contractors to carry
out all our site work. These sub contractors have been selected
by us for their pump engineering knowledge and capability.
All are accredited and have the appropriate training certification
and insurances.
